hmmm not a good day today. I feel hollow and empty. A dream i had today.. disturbing

i was at a friends house, and putting off going out to a wedding type thing, and i had been sleeping, the person who was my date was a family friend, mark wasn’t going he was working. i ended up going out first to a party and then turning up late to this dinner, and the people that were there, were like groom and his new wife, their family, the date, my parents, aunties and grandma and one of my RL friends - fiona. i had kept them waiting, it was obvious they had been talking about me, they asked me questions about what i had done like they were trying to catch me out, cos it looked like, for all intents that i was having an affair and had been caught.. red handed. So i told them as much of the truth as possible - they knew tho mark and i were having problems - but it still looked bad for me. my friend fiona believed me cuz i had tried to call her to tell her, but she hadn’t said anything to them for whatever reason. In the end of the dream, i was looking like a condemned woman, with 1 friend and a family embarrassed and facing the prospect of a break up and i was telling this guy who had been my date, and he said if it were him he’d have broken up with me.

nothing like listening to a good CD whilst working .. which i kinda am at the moment. just taking some time out to catch up with people on IRC and veg.

we have a house inspection today. God i hate renting. our property managers are so ANAL. So had some cleaners turn up to clean the place on monday and they did a pretty good job. didnt spot clean the doors like i asked them to tho, which annoyed me cuz i had to do it. but the lack of stress surrounding the inspection is just huge, so it was worth the 85$ that we paid.

work wise, we are still working hard to get money owed to us from our clients. End of Fin. Year sucks. No one ever wants to pay, they all have bills, since money circulates.. if everyone paid their debts, then no one would have a problem! nice in theory except some debts are larger than others and personal expenses would cut into that, wages.. so then there is less money to pay the debtors. then that means insolvency!!! phew! just aswell that doesnt apply to us!

I think later tonight I will re-write my alias’ for mIRC. its all crap and all over the place. possibly re-organise my script. Sounds geeky, but I have my moments. I also have started a blog for my channel #evillollysdomain. You can find it here
and I will be updating the links on this blog eventually. Oh and Rant time about stupid IRC people who pick up viruses and log onto IRC and subject everyone to their ignorance. #sydney was massjoin flooded last night, 75 virus clients. so if you /hopped - you then had 75 windows pop up on re-entry telling you, that you had a virus and go to a link to download the cleaner which of course, is the virus - a trojan - this trojan is hosted on a bigpond account and they wont do anything about it. *sigh*

I am moving as far as journalling goes. I have tried to register with paypal but its seems to be an impossible task at the moment. plus the up and down times, and yes i know i am a free user etc but if i paid things would improve - but even so - this new site is very customiseable and i am enjoying it alot more.

I am moving to Blogger

and when You pay for that there is alot more that you can do with the templates, including modifying existing ones or making a new one. and there are more options to customise.

I will be still reading and keeping my account so i can keep up with everyone on the friends list and in the groups i read. but as far as posting goes, the odd comment here and there but i am going elsewhere.

John Howard (PM of oz) can be, in my opinion, quite racist and seems to have come up with a few ideas which could lead to the double dissolution of parliament in australia.

He is trying to reduce by law our borders so that people who are refugees, if they land on an island, can’t claim refugee status. How dumb? good way to defend a country! legislate land loss! does he still intend to collect tax from the people on these islands? This was blocked and also a bit of legislation which would take the disability pension from people like my mother in law who cant work cuz she has problems sitting for more than an hour in a chair, and has a collostomy bag - other issues we wont go there!

Australians need to get a clue.

I have been rummaging around the blogs, and they are all so boring.

some blogs have a readership because they only post URL’s from other blogs, or news paper articles withe some “thoughts” attached one or two lines below.

Ok so my journal isnt going to be a trade journal or industry blog, but how BORING - most of these people seemed to be busy beating their own drum. So what if I write personal stuff about things, at least its real human type things :-P. I do the geek thing every so often and talk about how I am going to fix this, do that, and I work for an ISP. I sure aint going to write about it tho.

I just think people should write about their beliefs and experiences, that makes far more interesting to read than rehashing webzine and newspaper articles in blogs.

Mum has a few back problems, the latest on has had her flat on her back and unable to do anything, except breath.. So I did the right thing and helped out..

I did everything!

pick her up from the hospital

take her to the shops

do her shopping for her

take her home

make lunch

learn how to make pea and ham soup

soak peas

chop onions (her way, cos my way was “wrong”)

find out that i left the bacon stock behind

talk to gran

make coffees

bake bread

make sure mum took her medicine

cook carrots and potatoes in the microwave before dumping in the pot with bacon, onion and peas

talk talk talk talk talk

puree the soup mix

make dad a cup of tea when he got home and listened to his complaints

I am pooped.
