ok.
So i tried netcomments for a while, and they worked briefly then for a week, nothing. I went to their website… looks like someone forgot to pay for their hosting or something. They’ve been cut off!
SO
back to enetation I go. and of course, all my comments from friends have been lost.
and dinner party plans are going just fine!
This is what I am thinking so far:
Chicken Satay with peanut sauce (i have asked if people have allergies)
Crumbed chicken drumsticks
Lamb cutlets (drool) with some salad
Chili Con Carne (on a platter) with salad
Greek Lemon Lamb
Greek salad of course
Meatballs
Beef stroganoff
Green Salad
Cheese platter
dried fruits, regular fruits
Special dip which I have a recipe for with crunchy veges
keep in mind this could have maybe another 3 people so thats 12.. enough to feed an army perhaps? and seeing as i am going shopping… today for things, it could all change anyway.
and that doesn’t include deserts.
*bounces*
I have redone the look a little, changed the fonts. Made my own background and stuff.
So now we have something else to look at for a while.
Umm.. I don’t really know how to say this without offending someone.. so. I don’t believe the US should be sending in troops and beating on Iraq simply because they “think” that Iraq may be involved in terrorist actitivies. I don’t think its right, that they should use the people who died last year as an excuse to wage war upon the world, I don’t believe it gives the United States ANY right whatsoever to enter another country and bomb the crap out of it.
All that said, I believe that YES something should be done about finding and removing terrorist cells which had involvement with the attacks on the World Trade Center, but there must be proof. None of this vague stuff, no instant assumption of guilt.
I also believe that our government is an ASS for letting the US hold Australian citizens in Guantanamo Bay simply because they are suspected terrorists. One of them wasn’t even in Afghanistan, He was a cleaner and was on his way home to Australia and was basically kidnapped and removed to the the holding camp. The other guy fought the the taliban, not ALQaeda. So how is he a terrorist? I must be missing something.
I am not particularly in the mood to write intelligently about these subjects today. Might do more, please don’t assume anything, this post is a mere shadow… shadow of what.. we aren’t sure. ![]()
another dinner idea for thought is stroganoff.. then i can also make the noodles/pasta for another dish.. like bolognaise.. but i dont know if people would want that.
*ponders*
mmm what are the thoughts.
a thai beef salad.. can it be made without fish sauce?

i have to say, that if you are someone who knows me personally, there will be some kind of problem with being friends with me… lets see what could that be … actually being friends with me.
Sometimes, .. maybe alot of the time, i isolate myself. i go into don’t talk to me modes, i dont you getting close to me modes, just anything which requires energy. Part of the reason is i close off and become me me me orientated. With the relationship problems i have been having the last 12 months i have successfully pushed away many people who would be my friends simply because i don’t want to face them.
time to get over it i guess. what will be will be - i just need to prepare for whatever comes next.
As for other news. The Australian Democrats, which are a party of the senate holding the balance of power have been made unstable in recent weeks due to the resignation of their former leader, Meg Lees. I personally think nothing better could have happened, due to her selling out the country to John Howard, for the GST. She was kinda booted out from being a leader as a result, and a younger woman, Natasha Stott Despoya was appointed leader, and she was VERY good for the party. Stood up for her beliefs when it came to the GST vote, crossed the floor, and the one reason why people started joining the Democrats, who are in their party politics Centres. Both Liberal and
She was forced to resign yesterday, and someone else, an aboriginal senator, Aiden Ridgeway was nominated, however he one of the ones behind the coup which lead to the party fighting, where Lees has sought to destabilise the leadership since she lost leadership. So he has blood on his hands, so another Senator stepped in, a Gay Rights activist from good ole WA!! Brian Grieg. Now the shit has hit the fan proverbally. It has become apparent, that the members of the party (who have a direct say in what happens in the National executive), didn’t want Aiden Ridgeway as Leader. So a cat is amongst the pigeons, machiavellian plots have been thrown on their ear and more are designed! WOW is all i can say. What an interesting time i live in!
There’s other stuff like, John Howard saying he is not going to care if he gets bi-partisan approval for a war on iraq. The opposition refuses to support a strike on Iraq unless there is irrefutable proof that they were involved in Sept 11, or if Iraq DO something to start a war. They, like many australians don’t trust Bush, or his motives, and does anyone see parallels to Nazi Germany in some ways? Declare countries enemies of the state, invade? move on to the next. Afghanistan being 1 of these countries, Iraq next. So after Iraq.. the next country in the “axis of evil” would that be Iran? North Korea? with Nuclear Weapons, and China right next door. *shakes head*
Just wanna point out a few things. People in the Taliban army were not necessarily AlQaeda, however most of the people who were flying the planes on Sept 11, WERE from Saudi Arabia. As is bin Laden. So.. why isn’t the United States looking there? *thinks about all that OIL* How hypocritical.
