I have been reading of the last couple of days about the live sheep trade and how there have been many protests against it blahblah and I happen to believe that Live export of sheep is totally unnecessary - I’ll explain further in a moment…
I have to admit, the worst thing these protestors could have done, was contaminate a whole pile of sheep, with pig products. Yes, it is illegal, because we need to protect humans from catching Mad Cows Disease (variants thereof) - and to see a human being contaminating a whole shipment of sheep destined for human consumption, sickens me.
These sheep are now unuseable - they can’t even be slaughtered for feeding Australians! What did these people think they were going to do with these sheep? Find a kind farmer to let them live out their days on some farm with leafy green fields? So now we have a flock of 50+ thousand baabaa lambs floating around a few paddocks, with NO value whatsoever - in fact, keeping them alive now costs the man who owns the sheep money, but the government and a few other people. Extra feed costs, extra water costs, the fact a contract can’t be honoured so there might be penalty fees.
and lets look at the irony of this situation..
THEY USED PIG MEAT - what happened to those poor piggies.. did they donate their limbs for the cause?

Now back to why I think live exports are unnecessary. I used to live in a nice town called Katanning, in WA - it has a significant number of Muslim people, who were drawn to the town because it had a Halal abattoir - a Halal Abattoir is one which slaughters sheep according to Muslim guidelines. In a way, like jews have kosher food, Muslims have the same thing. Like the jewish people, Muslims also do not touch pork products, another reason why those sheep had been contaminated with pig meat. Back to my Halal Abattoir education.
We don’t NEED to send live sheep if we can just slaughter them at Halal Abattoirs. We have several in WA, and I am sure there would be a few in other states. So let’s do this protest against live sheep exports the right way, suggest alternatives such as these Halal Abattoirs, use existing or open new ones and fix it that way - positively.
End of today’s preaching session, I hope you all now email the government about using Halal Abattoirs and let’s throw a few cans of spam at the retard who used pig meat to completely ruin some sheep.
