Car goes vroommmm clickety click click click
Well this is going to be a long post with different subjects. Firstly I need to vent about my car which broke down this morning in possibly some of the most hostile weather I have seen. My bin was blown about 30 metres down the road this morning during the nasty storm. I put petrol in the car, ($1.06 per litre - thank you George and John) went to start it and it didn’t fire up. So I woke up some poor guy whom had given me his business card for work to contact, and got the Ops desk. However I was not late for work as luck would have it. My car apparently only had a flat battery. Talk about embarrassed, I could have solved it myself instead of getting it towed to my dad’s work and it working the first time they tried to fix it. I felt like such a girl.

I could despise myself for getting involved as a friend in another’s well being after a relationship went pearshaped. It was a relationship, no matter what is said in whispers. I guess that is why I am angry. If you want a friend who will stick by you thick or thin, then look me up. If you however, do something that hurts another of my friends, and I am aware of the truth, then never expect me to not say something in the effort of being polite. He fucked up. He’s been caught. Other’s think hey Lori is being juvenile, but as I said today, when have any of you ever seen me this angry before? Surely they would have brains.. think - hey lori is really down on X person, what is the truth here? What he’s saying? Because Lori is screaming from the heaven’s that he is a liar. Men suck - well not all men, but right now, the american ones from Atlanta do. btw - I am not backstabbing anyone. If anyone asks me questions, if it is in within my ability to answer it I will answer it truthfully.
Funny thing is I was attacked by someone else who actually wasn’t around for the longest time and crept onto the scene and became nasty. I was surprised, more than a little shocked, and perhaps Jenny and Ben were right about him all that time ago. But now, I don’t want talk to some of these friends anymore. I’ve not slept for a few weeks very well. I hate the crap.
Truth Overboard
Can any of you people who support the liberal govt in power actually tell me, that it’s ok for John Howard to have won an election based on a lie? That people didn’t throw their kids over the side of the boat to blackmail the navy? What about all those ex politicians, and diplomats and liberal stalwarts who came out stating Howard is bringing the Liberal Party into disrepute. Please tell me, and leave the whole - Mark Latham is a dickhead chat and how crap he is - please tell me in logical reasons WHY John H is a better man, a better prime minister than Mark Latham could be.
After listening to Alexander Downer tonight on Lateline, say with a straight face, that Latham was smearing John Howard’s good name, and ignore the fact that no less than 2 months ago, we heard all about Latham’s supposed domestic private problems paraded around on the National media for everyone to read and see - how is that any different? Since the man behind the smear campaign was apparently a J.H supporter. I don’t understand how they are possibly good for the country.
I think it is time to come out and let everyone know that I support the only alternative there is right now to the liberal party, regardless of how I might feel about some of labors policies or how they compromised on issues I find dear to my heart. The fact is, we need to save Australia from the Liberals. The only alternative is Labor - because there is no one else, and it must be done.
