Work and more biffo chat

One of those mornings here at work already had some crap customers and it’s only just turned 10am.

I had a few thoughts last night about things with friends, and the stuff said on my journal in comments actually irritates me. Why? Because it’s not like I used names - so by replying, the parties concerned identified themselves to whoever else may know me and my friends. Believe it or not, I haven’t actually blabbed about this issue to anyone else in any great detail, including on here, which of course has lead to conclusions being jumped to. I totally agree I shouldn’t have said anything, but life is full of lessons to be learnt.

I said I wasn’t going talk about this anymore, but today I was thinking about how irritating it was to see the crap in the comments. I know I spoke to David last night, after his latest comment which I am sure is just going to stoke the fires of outrage with other friends of mine - but seriously I don’t like seeing nasty stuff like that, most of you don’t know eachother anyways!

Timecheck 11am:: Mind you if i didn’t want the messages in the first place I wouldn’t have enabled comments, but sometimes.. *sigh* I think next time i’ll remove the link for comments when I don’t want them. High drama’s or what?! I wonder what will happen next week!!

By the way, it’s my birthday next week. I will be 31 - I might change the blog for a day or find an evil looking picture of my favourite cake to celebrate. I managed to get a day off work for my birthday - swapped shifts, so it works out ok for me. It’s been busy then slow, busy then slow - and I think that’s kinda cool, gives me time to keep writing my entry, which I am now doing.

Timecheck: 11.20:: and taking a call with someone who has an old old phone .. something like a samsungT100 - which only does WAPCSD and not WAPGPRS - difference being the delivery, and CSD is slower. I think I killed the guys phone :> I really hope not. He’s trying to connect and network isn’t responding … oh dear bert!

Timecheck 11:47:: Success! After 35 minutes we set up his phone to use WAP. Then he asked about contract expiry because he wants to upgrade his phone - I think he should too! I’d like to note that I finish work in an hour 10 minutes.. doh, another call

Time check::12.38 Well I just got pulled off the phones for bit whilst my TL went through my calls for the day for quality call listening and tell me where i went wrong, and when, and what I can do to get better. I was good technically, gave them all the info they needed, but I didn’t sound happy and I was cutting some of them off when they were trying to talk. All good points, and I have to say, that I am glad she assessed me when I was down - at least I know how bad I can be when I am not in the best of moods to work. I still didn’t rate badly, just not as well as I could.

And now I am home.

I went for another long walk. I had some comfort food, in the form of crispy chicken with rice and cabbage, nice Japanese food, but unhealthy. I just couldn’t face going home, but thankfully, M is in bed so I can zone out in the lounge and listen to INXS and roll my eyes at the latest entries in the comments section.
