I’m home sick.. I am watching young and the restless..
Catherine and Jull are mother and daughter apparently, and Catherine has a drinking problem.. *duh* - More people are dying on the show.. I tell ya, who wants live with these people? It’s like.. people die if they know the Chancellor’s or a member of Victor’s family. Then something happened at new years, and Victor’s son and his wife discuss the fact she was involved in a murder, but she didn’t murder the man she thought she did at all, and looks like she was duped.
Yesterday it was:
“He blackedmailed me to have sex with him”
“he did what?!”
“I went back a second time”
“Again? what for?”
“to beg him to stop blackmailing me, but he just wanted more sex, he tried to rape me!”
“what the hell did you go for? why didn’t you ask for help?”
“I didn’t want you to hate me, we struggled, I hit him with a bottle of the head.. I thought he was dead”
-silence-
“why didn’t you go to the police?!”
“I was scared”
So today..
“before the snow thawed i went to move it, i drove around and around and around with it in my trunk”
“You did what?how long did you have this body in the trunk of your car for?”
“I don’t know.. it disappeared”
“You lost a body of a person you killed?”
“Yes, but it’s not the man I killed!”
“What? you mean you killed a man still alive now?”
“Yes!”
“Why didn’t you tell someone?”
“I didn’t want people to think I killed him!”
“But you did!”
“Then I found the body in a park and threw it in a sewer”
“why??”
“I didn’t want anyone thinking I did it, Please don’t tell anyone… I promise I’ll be better”
“Who else knows?!”
“Your mother.. who else could I turn to?”
“You told my MOTHER?”
“Yes”
“what happened then?”
“Well, we went to the sewer to look for it”
“You went down the sewers to look for the body of a man, who isn’t the man you thought you killed, with my mother?”
“Yes, and it was disgusting, the water had washed it deeper into the system, and when we got there, it was covered with rats and his face was unrecognisable”
“he’s unrecognisable? You never thought to go to the police? What the hell have you been thinking these last few months!??! You involved my mother!!”
“He came back”
“yes, who would have thought he would be so diabolical, his schemes are so evil”
“Why is he trying to drive me crazy?”
“yes, that’s a good question, Why..?”
This is like.. so lame. at least with Passions they know that it’s a lame show and pay themselves out.
Some of the blogs I have been reading have been soaplike too. Robert Corr is classic, with all his reporting of the blog fiasco’s and young rabid liberals, it was natural of course that eventually things would turn around and bite him back.. or try to. Not sure it’s really been that necessary to report everything the way it has been done. I’ll tell you what it reminds me of.. primary school, he said she said. It’s very juvenile, and I know Robert won’t descend to their levels, but dude, seriously, leave these young fanatical liberals to rip themselves apart and make fools of themselves. It’ll be amusing in a few years time to have this come back when they’re running for federal politics, and we can produce their blogs and say..”look at your future leaders!! Do you really want these people as your representatives?” What happened to being dignified!
