Went out last night after work, I shouldn’t have, since I had to get up early, but I did. Met some friends, had a drink, wandered home and jeebus my feet were sore, my car was parked in East Perth, and I had to walk across the city to get to the Moon and Sixpence.. my boots aren’t made for walking

I have an issue with work.. the logic is almost dilbertian. They chose the geeks in the call centre to do the ADSL support. Good choices all of them really. However when I couldn’t resolve an issue, due to there being no knowledge documents online for us to ensure we were giving out correct settings specific to work, I rang the 2nd level support and was told “none of us have been trained in ADSL support” …. right.
Then apparently we can’t call them direct anymore, we have to call the Info team (the one I am joining) - most of them can’t resolve issues with ADSL or home phones due to lack of training, so they ring 2nd level, and there’s a relay of info [cc] –> [qi] –> [2nd] –>[qi] –> [cc] instead of.. [cc] [2nd] *sigh* stupid 2nd level. Damn Dilbert!
No deep and meaningful posts.. this is just a bit of fluff so ppl know i am still around writing crap and thinking on a shallow level - wouldn’t want to disappoint my regular readers and fly-bys.
