Finally, a reply.
The reason I switched to WordPress was due to the inability of mine to get Archiving links to work in Blogger. One day they ceased functioning and as a result, I wasn’t able to look up things on my blog anymore unless I logged into blogger’s control panel.
So during my sickness time, I wrote to blogger support for help, and got an automated response from their ticketing system.

So, I wrote back to them.
Dear Blogger Support
If i was able to understand your articles on how to set up archiving or troubleshoot them, I would have read the articles and followed your advice. I managed to fix the comments after 6 months, however, I am unable to get the archive link working.
I require further assistance and possibly a blogging for dummies type explanation where you tell me EXACTLY what i need to put and where in plain english please. what you have in the articles just doesn’t help me and I am almost in tears trying to get it all to work. The blog i need help with, is lori’s cubes.
please help me
Regards
lori
I got no response from them, so seven days later, I moved to WordPress. I have the ability to do alot of things I was not able to do on Blogger, including blocking IP ranges. I was loathe to leave Blogger. I still have a couple of blogs under my account.
So I got an email from them today, not an automated response, but a real human named Graham.
Hi Lori,
I checked your blog and it looks like you’ve switched it over to WordPress. Let us know if there’s still anything Blogger-related we can help you with, though. I’m sorry we couldn’t get around to helping you out sooner.
Sincerely, Graham

So they do check emails where someone has replied, but not straight away. That’s ok. I did what alot of customers at my work have done recently when they have not been able to contact us. They take their business elsewhere. It’s nothing personal, they just would rather have service or something that works the way it is supposed to. I am one of these people. I wrote back to him.
I am sorry too.
I still have other blogs i use on blogger under that account, I won’t be closing those. I have always loved blogger to the point I paid for it when it wasn’t free as bloggerPro.
I just wanted things to work, and switching to a template from blogger just didn’t fix anything with my archives. I didn’t want to lose anything. I’ve had some tough times that I have written about and need those memories.
Thanks for your reply.
Lori
So - there you have it. I have told them I still use it, and I will continue to do so. I told them I have been a paying customer before it was free, I have told them I am emotionally attached to my blog. Who isn’t? Perhaps it may encourage Blogger to pay more attention to humans, less reliance on their FAQ’s or consider that sometimes, people need instructions which solve problems.
