long week
It’s been a busy week. I have had work piling on top of me, home stuff, my inability to finish cleaning the unit and just lack of wanting to make an effort to work hard. I have nothing fabulous to write about really. Oh and they advertised a position at work on seek, without posting it on the intranet. No I am not applying for it, since I don’t have enough skills on some things yet. Like Quality Call listening. However, give me another month or two and I’ll be there.
More customers yelling, but this week, I am in a I don’t give a shit state of mind. I just agree with them, give em a credit and move on. Or like today, crap on about the call rates being sent with the phones, and then put the angry scotsman down to the department that handles disconnections. People who work for phone companies, don’t deserve the abuse. Just remember that we aren’t personally responsible for billing errors, and some people if they do make mistakes, we apologise and fix it.
I got a letter from the real estate agent. They are planning on increasing my rent to 145 p/w. That’s ok I guess. It’s sure not going to break me. However I was angry that nothing had been done about my door sticking problems. I hope it rains during the week they do my house inspection. I would like to see how well they can open my front doors.
Tomorrow I am walking on the Juvenile Diabetes walk thingy around the river. 8kms around the river across bridges. I don’t know what bridges, but it should be a lovely walk none the less, and I believe that it’s going to be raining tomorrow, so should be even better. My work has supplied cool walking Tshirts and great baseball caps so we’ll all look the same! mmmm pod people.

Great blog Lori. Have you considered buying your own place? Would save hassle in the long run with annoying rent inspections n stuff…?

yeah i thought about it, but my need for travel next year is more than my need for a house. I’ll get around to it eventually - and thanks! got a blog yourself?
