Worth a shot?
I know I said I wouldn’t bail out… but there’s jobs at a govt office that are on offer, and the pay is considerably better than what I am on right now. I don’t think I would be dealing with the same kind of people as I do now. IF I applied for this particular job and got it, my pay would go up considerably, and if we base it on the money I was getting in June05, the pay would be nearly 8K per year more. Mind you, there’s no bonus like there would be, and probably not as much overtime. However, on the flipside, regular hours, no late night finishes and less stress. I’ll think about it.
In other news.. I purchased a gel filled seat cushion for my ass. It needs some loving as bike seats never seem to be comfortable. I purchased one for dad aswell since he’s been getting his bike done up. You should see it, very cool bike.
On my way home from my parents tonight I noticed something, and then I realised I’ve seen this quite a bit. Middle-aged people, mainly men with bermuda hats or straw hats on the back parcel shelf of their invariably Ford Falcon. What is it with middle aged men with hat’s on the back parcel shelf?

People, male or female, with any sort of hat on the back parcel shelf are a danger to themselves and other users of the road. They have no idea of what is going on around them and generally drive Volvos.
With regards to the job - go for it. Unless you are worried about getting stuck in a govt job. Don’t have to take crap from Joe Public? How much is that worth?

Hrmm I’m thinking it’s the tax office? That’s the only govt body i’m shit scared about.
