One of my beasties
X has custody of our cats, as he is the one that lives in a house, where cats are allowed to frolick. I on the other hand, have a huge collection of ceramic and glass cats which I took with me when I left X. I took my camera over to X’s place when I was doing my weekly visit and picking up some shopping and thought I’d take a pic of BC.
BC the wonder cat. He’s blind. Thus his eyes look a little.. odd.
My friends and family love him, and he earnt the reputation of being a fearsome beast at the Vet Surgery when he contracted a mystery illness and we took him in. $500 later, we found out he was missing a few organs and they weren’t sure how he was still alive, but they thought he was a sweety. We never found out what made him ill, but apparently if he wasn’t an indoor cat, he’d probably be dead by now.
You should see what he can do to the couch ![]()

what can he do to it? lift it and give it a twirl before throwing it through the wall? maybe re upholstering it? your cat is sure to be full of surprises.. most likely however it will leave cat hair on it making people allergic to cats, such as myself, sneeze for hours..

He looks in fantastic condition, and happy. Was he born blind? It sounds like he was a very lucky kitten to survive to adulthood, and even luckier to find a home with people who love and support him so much.
(ps, I have an old couch. I’d rather have the company of lovely furry friends and live with slightly scruffy furniture. Not everyone’s priorities, I know.)

Yes. Mister BC… He’s a cat with cranky pants. Disembowel lounges, couches and ankles like they’re mad of butter.
