Having a Bridgit Jones Year.
I just wrote a post about work and stuff and how weird today is and it’s a crap post so I deleted it and start here.
This year is going to be my year.
One of my favourite movies is Bridgit Jones’s Diary. This year I am the same age as her. I’m working for a large national company, I’m single, and I have some weight to lose and I am looking for my Mr Darcy. Now if it was Colin Firth I’d be happy, very happy, he’s a hottie. But he’s not here, the chances of me meeting him are slim, so I’ll settle for someone who will do a good job of being my Mr Darcy.
I’m not desperate and you certainly won’t find me at night drinking red wine like a fish, smoking like a chimney and singing “I CAN’T LIIIIIIVE IF LIVING IS WITHOUT YOUUUU” or “alll by myselffff”. It’s more likely you’ll find me drinking my 8th coffee for the day bopping to Prodigy screeching out “smack my biatch up”. Oh and cleaning. I tend to clean alot.
