More friends of mine are discovering the pointy end of the stick when has come to this new IR laws. Apparently the laws don’t stop companies who have more than 100 employees from being made redundant for “operational reasons”. That’s just lovely. They aren’t people who are crap at their jobs, they are good people, who care, who have opinions and those opinions aren’t shared by management.
