Slim pickings
I am sliding back into nothingness again!
I feel like gossiping about work, but there just really is not that much to talk about.
I was asked to go for the “you rock” lunch for work, sat near the General Manager, asked questions about the share price.. and then later on one of the other Snr Managers sees me in the lunch room, I am on MSN to MM, and suggests that I mention the share price drop to the CEO of the company I work for.. sure.. I like to make those career ending statements. I think I will find myself too busy to attend that particular event, the last time there was one, someone in IT got horribly drunk and said a few things that just should be kept between him and his manager.
Everyone is looking at me at work since I failed to get that position, and I know they are thinking one of 2 things. “Poor lori” or “sucked in bitch” There are schools of thought that I was unlucky, or I must have been really crap, or I pissed off the management team and why would they promote someone who was a lower level than me.. So, I keep going to work and taking calls whilst ppl comment that I have been demoted, when no such thing has happened, but still the gossip flies. Awesome, that can go with the one about how I am no longer a lesbian.

I have also discovered dealsdirect.com.au, I should ensure that Hammy goes and looks at it. There is alot of cheap stuff, like vacuum cleaners, of which I am about to buy one. There is other stuff, golf clubs, bikes, soap, candles, refurbished laptops, mp3 players and other miscellaneous shit. Excellent really for those trashy purchases!
Thats about it for now I think.. Weekend planned and I find out when MM is booking his tickets to come over soon!! Awesome
