 how does one move?

How does one move countries?

I am attempting to garner contacts within the UK as I am thinking I might go over there for a while and work. Much to my mother’s disappointment. As I told her, she has a backup daughter, so why worry about me?

I won’t have immigration worries, since i have a British passport, but finding work and affordable accomodation, that’s the hard bit.

 Between drinks…

Yes it has been a while.

I have had a life to lead whilst MM did a return visit to AU, and I have had to work at the same time.

I am stressed from the work I have had to do, and showing improvement finally from the team as they work together. On the otherhand, all I have wanted to do, is stay at home, and go out with MM as we wander around the city.

When he left to go home on Friday, he took a part of me with him. Whils t it hasn’t hurt so much due to the fact we did alot of our grieving in the 2 days before he left. There’s a hole in my life now. You wouldn’t think that spending such a short time with someone would have such an impact. He has, and I need to think about my future.

Well not too much to think about really, I know what I a m going to do.

 Margaret River

We went to Margaret River and we had a ball. We didn’t do anything major, like go tour all the wineries .. I will be honest, living in WA, and in Perth, we are spoiled for wines and wineries just on the outskirts of the city - and when you have beeen to one winery you have been to them all. So instead we went caving. That was enjoyable.

We visited Jewell Cave, Lake Cave and Mammoth Cave - The amount of walking up and down stairs, and caves was huge! I was ready to just crawl up and cry - I have a spur on my heel so it was painful to walk. However I soldiered on, and the view was just awesome. It was worth the aches and pains.

The funny thing about the caving was that we had the same guide for all three caves. When MM and I got to Lake Cave, we decided to go for a walk whilst waiting for the next tour. There is a path that takes about 25 minutes to walk through the bushes. We could hear snakes slythering around. There were these huge flies that sounded like those Pod Racers from Starwars. With this Waaaaaaaaaow sound they flitted between the trees and bushes and whipping up my hair! Ick.

This post was written ages ago, just not posted. :-)
