David and I caught up at a coffee shop in VicPark yesterday. I had been to the doctor’s earlier, and felt bright enough to do some time in a coffee shop.
Seems like David and I will be two friends that might catch up once or twice a year. This year was such a difference. We both had some of our own lows happening in our personal lives, and this year, it was very different. Time ran away from us, and before we knew it, it was nearly 9pm. I’m glad things are working out for David, who knows what country we may meet in next time?

Sometimes thats the best kind of friends, ones that you can catch up with a couple of timnes a year and pick up where you left off
I was just thinking about VicPark from when i lived in WA. Only thing i remember about VicPark is the train station (I was posted to Karakatta at the time!)
I love friends that you see rarely but can pick right up where you left off the last time you saw them. Sounds like a keeper.
My best friends are like that! I mean, the people I’m best friends with. I wonder if it’s because if I interacted with them more than I do, I’d hate them. I hope not, but it occurs to me.
IS YOU DEAD?!
no.. just busy with work.
will post this week, i have been sick with tonsillitus.
