Plus there is a plethora of rape, penis and vigrispam being thrown at my blog at about 30 spam comments every hour, or 1 spam per 2 minutes.. damn you spamgods.

Akismet is a life saver. Its stopping a huge pile of spam comments coming at my blog too even though i have bad behaviour that is supposed to also stop them reaching the blog grrrr

You can also try Spam Karma 2 for wordpress, which I think is much better. And this after using Akismet for 12 months - but fed up with its crap review and delete process.
