Got Stroke? Get to a Hospital
This happened to someone at work.
If you feel any of these symptoms:
- Â Brief attacks of weakness
- clumsiness
- numbness or pins and needles of the face, arm or leg on one side of the body
- slurring of speech or difficulty in finding words; or
- blurred vision in one or both eyes.
Get to a hospital and get help.
Do not keep telling me for 3 days, what has been happening to you and not expect that on the 3rd day I won’t be pushing you out the door and demanding that you go to the hospital and get checked properly. You are damn lucky that I insisted you go to the hospital. Not that you will read this, but I hope you will get better soon.

Holy fuck, I get all those symptoms when I’m drunk!
How old was this person, and are they recovering ok?

She is doing ok.. having MRI’s today. She called me last night to let me know that she won’t be in at work for at least a week.
She’s in her 50s i think. I don’t ask a lady her age, i just try and make sure that she has the confidence to do her job.

She has a blood clot and is advising you that she will not be in for the rest of the week? She is a trooper!

haha. I just want her to get better, I don’t want to look across at her desk and see her slumped forward. AvonLady tried to tell her it was OK! i’m like.. “it’s not! she has to go now”
