more social events..
So with august being a month for social occaisions, I should comment that once again I went out last weekend to watch people from work having fun.
Went to this event @ Challenge stadium where a few companies got involved in rockbands and they had a corporate boardroom blitz competition.
We needed to be bribed by our CEO to go up to the stage when our band hit floor, as we were in cheap seats, we had to pay for our alcohol. I didn’t drink, but I did have some wine, and had a good time overall.
Food was interesting, I have a few pics and I’ll upload them when I get the chance to download them off the phone. They had tiered entrees. First one being some prawns on some kind of semolina base, second tier was random vegies and prosciutto and 3rd tier was asparagus and parmesan.
The mains were lamb ribs with some pumpkin mash, and desert was apple and rhubarb pie! yummeh!
Still no word as to when MM will be coming over. I can wait.
I took his glass engraved cube to work today, now he gazes at me every day!
